About the artists

Dominique Tegho is a choreographer and dancer from Lebanon based in Berlin.
Drawing from her personal experience leaving the Middle East, she often explores how
borders are at play, questioning the notion of home and habitability. She is interested in the
body as a site for representation and reference, as a physical intervention, as an instrument
of social change, and dance as its tool for transformation.
Her research currently focuses on unearthing new ecologies through choreographic
practices. Blurring the border between fiction and reality, she often perceives the
performative space as an uncharted territory that provides possibilities for recomposing life
together. During her residency at Moving in November she will be researching states of
fragility from a hydrofeminist perspective, as part of her upcoming solo "metal & rust".

Flavia Zaganelli is an Italian dance artist. She trained independently, collaborating
since 2013 with international artists and choreographers, and then graduated from
Tanzfabrik contemporary dance school in Berlin and Smash#9. In 2018, she began
creating choreographic works in collaboration with other artists, and then embarked
on a more autonomous path. Her research is cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary,
and her interests lie in relationships between things, hybrid forms and collaborative
processes. Dance and performance are concrete places for her to embody thoughts
about the future.

PLACEBO DANCES
an atlas of body based practices in the search of pleasure and states of graces.
The open showing will be the first primal sharing of this new research. People are welcome
to cross this path together with the artist.
