Liisa Pentti +Co Studio opens its doors to dance and performing arts makers through a new concept: Sunday Studio. Sunday Studio is a space where artists and working groups can present a seed of a performance, an idea, a demo, or a new version of a work. It is a space where curiosity and an open process are more important than a polished final result.
Sunday Studios are free of charge and open to everyone interested. After the presentations, there will be an informal discussion facilitated by dance artists Liisa Pentti and Liisa Risu. We offer light refreshments and a relaxed Sunday atmosphere.
APPLY BY 23 AUGUST
Each Sunday Studio features 1–3 performances. These can take many different forms, for example:
a work-in-progress showing
the first sketch of a performance idea or character
testing new material with an audience
or any other format that feels meaningful to the artist.
Each presentation is followed by a discussion facilitated by choreographers Liisa Risu and Liisa Pentti. Coffee, light refreshments, and a relaxed Sunday atmosphere will be provided.

Participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
This open call is primarily for the September event. A separate call for the December event will be announced later in the autumn. However, if you already know that you would like to participate in December, you are welcome to indicate this in your application.
