Open Stage
Liisa Pentti +Co's Improautumn culminates in a two-day event at the The House of Text's Parvisali on 30.11.-1.12. The improvisation weekend will feature performances, discussions and improvisations. On Sunday afternoon, the stage will be taken over by the Impro Open Stage.
Impro Open Stage offers the opportunity to explore and experiment with your own dance improvisation in a performance situation. There are four 15-20 minute slots where the stage is free for your own expression. You can apply alone or together: There is a small fee for participation, which can be shared between several people if you wish. You can also apply as a dancer-musician duo, for example. Curation is mainly on a first-come, first-served basis, but we also try to include as diverse a range of performers as possible. Impro Open Stage is for dance professionals: students, teachers, performers... Participants will also have free access to other performances during the weekend.
